Sell your crypto to Orange Money, step by step
1. Open the “Sell” tab and pick your crypto
Sign in on mufasax.com, tap the “Sell” tab then “Select crypto”. Pick the crypto and the network you will send from. In this example: “Tether USD” on TRX (Tron).
2. Enter the amount
Type how much to sell, or the CFA amount you want to receive: the other field fills in by itself, at the current rate. The rate in the screenshot is an example: yours is shown on screen.
3. Enter your Orange Money number
Enter the number that will receive the money, without +221, and pick “Orange Money” under “Mobile Money Supplier”. Double-check it, then tap “Sell”: the payout goes to that number.
4. Send exactly the amount shown
The page shows the deposit address and a timer. Copy the address (or scan the QR code) and send exactly the amount shown from your wallet, on the network you picked. From an exchange, add its withdrawal fee so the amount that arrives is the right one.
5. Track the sale
As soon as your deposit arrives, the status moves to “Deposit Received” then “Processing Payment”. You can close the page: the sale goes on and stays in your history.
6. Receive your CFA francs on Orange Money
The Orange Money payout goes out within seconds of your deposit being received. The page shows “Transaction Successful!”.
Which cryptos can you sell in Senegal?
USDT (Tether): a stablecoin designed to track the US dollar. Pick in the list the network you send from: Tron, BNB Chain, Ethereum or Solana.
Solana (SOL): the “Solana” row of the list, sent on the Solana network.
Bitcoin (BTC): sent on the Bitcoin network; the payout goes out once the network confirms the deposit.
USDC: on Ethereum, BNB Chain or Solana.
Plus Ethereum (ETH), BNB, Tron (TRX), Litecoin (LTC) and XRP.
Send exactly the amount shown, on the right network
The crypto and the network of your transfer must be exactly the ones picked on Mufasa X: a transfer on another network is not detected.

If the page shows a “Destination Tag” (as for XRP), include it in your transfer: without it, the deposit cannot be credited.
Once the quote has expired, do not send anything to the address. If your transfer left too late, contact WhatsApp support with your exchange ID.
On Binance or Trust Wallet?
From Binance, you withdraw your crypto to the deposit address Mufasa X gives you, with the same network on both sides.
From a wallet such as Trust Wallet, you send your crypto to that same address, from the wallet's send screen.
Rate and fees
The rate on the sell screen already includes our fees: the amount you receive is shown before you confirm.
Only the network fees of your transfer are added: they are paid to the network, not to Mufasa X.
Apart from stablecoins, a crypto's price moves all the time: the amount kept is the one quoted, provided you send before the timer runs out.
Frequently asked questions
- Which operator pays me?
- Orange Money, only. The payout lands on the Orange Money number entered in your sell order; it also shows in the Max it app.
- How fast does the money arrive?
- The payout goes out within seconds of your deposit being received. For Bitcoin, the network must confirm it first, usually in about ten minutes.
- Is there a minimum amount?
- Mufasa X sets no minimum for selling. For a small amount, check the amount received shown before you confirm: network fees weigh more on it.
- What are the fees?
- Our fees are included in the rate shown before you sell. Only the network fees of your transfer are added, paid to the network.
- My deposit arrived after the timer ran out: what now?
- Do not send anything more to the address and contact WhatsApp support with your exchange ID and your transaction ID (TxID).
- Can I sell from Dakar as well as from the regions?
- Yes: the sale happens online, from anywhere in Senegal. All you need is an Orange Money number and internet access, in Dakar, Thiès, Touba or elsewhere.
